Description
Emmaus Recharge is a chance for all those who have participated in Emmaus previously to come together to worship, fellowship and learn. There will be great teaching and workshops designed to help you recharge your parish Emmaus group and recharge your faith with a mission focus. Topics covered will include: Doing mission in your local area, sharing the Bible with others, prayer and praying with other people, leading a bible study and sharing your faith with others. Guest Speaker: Sam McGeown from CMS Who: Anyone who has been on Emmaus before. (All ages welcome)
Date: 5- 7 March 2010 Arrival Time: 7:00 pm Friday Departure Time: 1:30 pm Sunday

Description
The Logan Deanery of the Anglican Church is hosting a Youth Day for people aged 10 to 15 inclusive to participate in and get to know each other, and God. The day will have a mix of activities, both indoor and outdoor. All food will be provided for the day; we just ask that you bring your own drink bottle and hat. The day will be run by volunteers from around the Deanery, all of them being Blue Card holders. Numbers are limited, so do not wait to register. You may be aware Tony and I are involved with OAC Ministries sharing the gospel to kids in the community. A big part of OAC's outreach is Beach Mission held during the Christmas holidays.

LCD - Live Christian Dialogue
15 November - 5:30pm at Aspley Albany Creek Anglican Church

A gathering allowing for worship and discussion. Come at 5:30pm for Drinks and Nibbles and then enjoy an episode of Battlestar Galactica followed by a Meal and an Adult Discussion, and close with a short act of worship. There is no charge, just a chance to think about things differently.

On the 24th October (this Saturday), St John’s Wishart is hosting a Diocesan Youth Worship Event. This M.E.C. activity will begin at 5pm with food/drink and community activities. Worship will begin at 6:30pm and will be suitable for all young people in the high school age bracket.
